Stream to Twitch and Kick at the same time with Vidari

What you need

• A Twitch account you use to sign in to Vidari, and Vidari Ultimate.
• A Kick account you can stream with.
• Your scenes in Vidari Cloud – or a console sending through Vidari.

Step by step

1. 1

   Open Vidari Cloud

   In the dashboard, open “Vidari Cloud” and expand the multistream destinations module.

   Link Kick

   Choose “Link Kick” and approve on Kick. Your Kick channel then appears next to the button.

   Add Kick as a destination

   Press “Add Kick as destination”. Vidari fetches the address and stream key itself – nothing to type in.

   Set up Kick chat

   Under “Take over Kick chat”, choose to read Kick chat, whether to mirror it into your Twitch chat, and whether VidariBOT answers in Kick chat.

   Go live

   Start your stream in Vidari Cloud or from your console. Vidari sends to Twitch and Kick at the same time.

Tips for streaming to both

• If you set a custom bitrate or resolution for a destination, it gets its own branch – handy when a platform accepts less.
• Twitch-only commands such as !clip or !raid stay off in Kick chat, because they do not exist there.
• Before your first double stream, check the current rules of Twitch and Kick on simulcasting.

What about OBS or Vidari Studio?

Vidari's multistream runs through Vidari Cloud. In Vidari Studio for Windows, multistream is in preparation. If you keep streaming with OBS, you can still use Vidari for the chat bot and overlays and bring Kick chat into your overlay through the Kick link.
