Vidari Studio for Macro Deck

Your phone, tablet or a second machine operates Vidari Studio — switch scenes without leaving the game.

Requires Vidari Studio 0.2.1 and Macro Deck 2.15. The plugin is free.

In four steps

Turn it on in Vidari Studio
Settings → Remote control → “Allow remote control”. If Macro Deck runs on another machine, set “Reachable” to “On the local network”. Address and key are right below.

Run this installer
On the machine Macro Deck runs on. Close Macro Deck first — a running Macro Deck holds the plugin file open.

Connect in Macro Deck
Start Macro Deck. Under Plugins you'll find “Vidari Studio” → Configure → enter address and key → “Test connection”.

Assign buttons
On a button choose the action “Operate Vidari Studio” and pick what it should do from the list. The list comes from Studio — new scenes and sources appear there by themselves.

What a button can do

Switch scenes
Show and hide each source individually
Start recording, stream and replay
Mute microphone and desktop audio
Trigger an ad break, a clip or a marker
Buttons light up with: current scene, recording, stream, replay buffer

Security

Remote control is off until you turn it on, and always requires a key. Vidari Studio rejects connections from outside your home network — even if something is accidentally open on your router.

Don't expose the port to the internet. Anyone who does hands strangers the remote control for their broadcast.
