Vidari Studio on your Stream Deck
Switch scenes, show and hide sources, start recording and streaming — straight from your Elgato Stream Deck. And the keys light up with it.
Download pluginfree · 73 KBRequires the Elgato Stream Deck software 6.5 or newer and Vidari Studio 0.3.5 or newer.
Also available in Vidari Studio: Plugins → Elgato Stream Deck → Download plugin. Then use Set up connection to obtain the address and key.
Set up in six steps
- 1Turn on remote control
In Vidari Studio: Settings → Remote control → “Allow remote control”.
- 2Note address and key
Both are shown right below. If the Stream Deck is on another computer, also set “Reachable” to “On the local network”.
- 3Download and open the plugin
Double-click the file. The Stream Deck software will ask whether to install it.
- 4Assign a key
On the left under “Vidari Studio”, drag “Control Vidari Studio” onto a free key.
- 5Connect
Enter address and key on the right and press “Connect”. The dot at the top turns green.
- 6Pick what it does
Choose from the list below — scene, source, recording, stream, audio. Done.
What it can do
- Switch scenes — the running one lights up
- Show and hide every source individually
- Start and stop recording, streaming and the replay buffer
- Mute microphone and desktop audio
- Save a replay, create a clip, set a marker, start an ad break
- Also from a second computer on the same network
What the plugin is allowed to do
Exactly what a keyboard shortcut is allowed to do — no more. Vidari Studio has a single action catalogue, and remote control calls the same execution. By design it cannot do anything else.
Nothing works without the key, and connections from the public internet are refused — even if your router happens to have a port forward set up.
