Take over your OBS scenes in Vidari Studio
You do not have to start from scratch: Vidari Studio finds your OBS scene collections on first launch and takes them over as they are.

- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
- An existing OBS Studio setup on the same PC.
- No Vidari subscription – Vidari Studio and the takeover are free.
Step by step
Download Vidari Studio
On vidari.de/studio choose “Download for Windows” and install the app. You do not need to sign in to download it.
Choose a language
On first launch, Vidari Studio suggests your Windows language.
Connect your Twitch channel
The connection runs in your own browser – Vidari never sees your password.
Take over your OBS setup
Vidari Studio lists the OBS scene collections it found, most recently changed first. Pick your collection and take it over. If you have no OBS setup, press “Set it up for me” instead.
Check and go live
Look through your scenes to make sure every source is there – especially browser sources and capture devices. Then stream as usual.
Special case: OBS in portable mode
In portable mode, OBS keeps its data next to the program file instead of under %APPDATA%. Vidari Studio does not find that folder by itself; you point it there by hand during the takeover.

Going back to OBS
Vidari Studio saves in the same format as OBS. If you want to go back, open OBS as before – your original setup is untouched.
Frequently asked questions
Does Vidari Studio change my OBS files?
No. Vidari Studio reads your OBS scene collection and continues with its own copy; the OBS files stay unchanged.
Are sources from OBS plugins taken over?
Scenes, sources, filters and audio are taken over. Whether a source that needs a specific OBS plugin works in Vidari Studio depends on the plugin – check those sources after the takeover.
